The word critic comes from Greek κριτικός (kritikós), “able to discern“,which is a Greek derivation from the word κριτής (krités), meaning a person who offers reasoned judgment or analysis, value judgment, interpretation, or observation.
I know lot of you see movies, read different types of books, go to plays/natak (English, Marathi etc). After you watch a movie generally you dont feel complete unless and until you discuss about the movie, its scenes, the direction, the message it potrays, the music, the pace of movie and what not. Same goes about the plays that you see and the books that you read.
It is generally said that any form of art cannot be just enjoyed by experiencing it alone. Rather the most important part of enjoyment begins after we discuss stuff with people around us, people who were with us while we were enjoying the experience, people with whom we share the connect.
And i am that sort of person who actually like to discuss stuff about movies, books, plays, music, travel etc. I feel that what all good that i see, hear, read and experience, i should share it with the people around me. After any play/movie that i see, any book that i read, i have some views/ experiences/critique in my mind that i wish to share.
With this whole idea in my i thought of creating this blog. This blog will have reviews about the following:
– Plays (specially Marathi)
With this thought in mind, i wish to begin my journey in the new (for me:-) world of blogging.
My mission is to enrich others by sharing all good experiences that i go through.
